Lunching with the "ladies"

This afternoon Mummy & I went to Honey's. She was cooking a yummy lunch for Janny's Birthday girls. The Birthday girls are a group of Janny's friends that have been doing lunch or dinner together once a month for over 50 years. Aunty Rae, Barb, Bev and Jeanette joined the birthday girls for lunch today. Of course all the Lady's thought I was beautiful and wanted cuddles.

Mummy's little escape artist!

Yesterday I gave Mummy a big fright! She was hanging the washing out while I was asleep. When she came back inside she could hear me making noises. Id only been asleep half an hour so Mummy hoped Id put myself back to sleep. I started to get louder. So Mummy came to check on me.
I had wriggled out of my wedge and was lying in my cot talking to my mobile. I was very proud of myself. Mummy couldn't help but laugh. She grabbed the camera and took these photos.

Morning Tea at Max's place.

This Morning we went to play at Max's place... I was so tired that I fell asleep in the car and only just woke up when we had our photo's taken.

This week I played with Max, Xander, Aeryn, Nyla & Jasmine. Mummy forgot her camera but lucky Nyla's Mummy (Andrea) took these cute photos. Mummy thought I was so cute giving Nyla a cuddle.

I love my DA

We are staying at Honey & Da's tonight so after rugby I had a Huge feed then a big play on my mat where I entertained everyone! When I was finished and ready for cuddles I went into the TV room to watch rugby with my Da.

I sat by Da just staring at the TV. But when he changed the channel to the warriors I didnt like it!!! Mummy says I have good taste as Rugby is much better than League. After the game Da and I had big chats and I gave him lots of smiles

I'm 9weeks old today and since the weather is nice Mummy thinks its time I went to Old Boys to watch some rugby! So we walked from Honey & Da's place down to watch Uncle David play.

I slept in the buggy but once I got to Old boys everyone wanted to see how cute I am.... I had cuddles with Stacey & Emma (from behind the bar) before going back outside to watch the game... I slept for the first half but then i woke and had cuddles with Honey, and Leslie Meade before going into the office for a feed. Old Boys won 47 -10 and Uncle David kicked lots of goals.

After the game I had a cuddle with Uncle David -who was very sweaty!!! Then I went into the clubrooms where I slept in Mummy's arms.

Mummy said I was a very good girl.

My 1st Swimming lesson

I started swimming lessons today... It was very exciting. Honey came with Mummy & Me so she could see how clever I am (and take the photos!!).

Donna is my teacher, she's very nice. In my class is Erin (11weeks), Aiden (6 weeks), Christian (18weeks) and me (9weeks). Donna taught mummy different things to do with me. I loved it -its even better than having a bath at Honey & Da's.

We did lots of swimming then we played games, the wheels on the bus, row the boat and incy wincy spider. I was very good... We swam for 20 minutes.

Im very tired now... and am sound asleep in bed.

Antenatal Morning Tea

Yesterday my friends came to my place for morning tea. While all our mums caught up we took turns at sleeping, feeding, having cuddles and even the odd cry!!

Our Mummies lay us down and took some cute photos of us. I can't wait till next week when we all meet again. This time at Max's house

Hanging at the beach

I spent the weekend in Whangamata at Honey & Da's bach. It was lots of fun.

Mummy thinks the sea air must be good for me as I was such a good girl, sleeping well and entertaining everyone with my smiles.

This morning before we left to come home Mummy & Honey took me over to the sea to take my photo on the sand. Here are some of the cute ones. Don't I look cute in my sun hat.

This weekend Mummy & I went to the beach with Honey & Da. It was lots of fun. I got to see lots people and they all stole lots of cuddles.

Honey & Da thought it was nice having me there for the whole weekend. They spent lots of time playing, cuddling and talking with me.

Hands

I love my hands... I can do lots of things with my hands.

• On my play mat my hands go crazy trying to hit the toys.
• While I am feeding I love holding Mummys hand or stroking her skin
• I try very hard to suck my thumb, I can't always manage it, so i often settle for sucking on my whole hand.

Me & Maddi

On Monday Mummy & Honey took me all the way to Tokoroa to visit Shannon & Maddison. Maddi is almost 6months old. I thought she was lots of fun. I gave her big smiles. We are going to have so much fun growing up together.

Sleeping -the cot

This was my very first sleep in my big cot (im 6weeks old). I love my mobile, it plays for 15minutes and the funny animals move around.

I am getting very good at sleeping which makes my Mummy very happy. She now normally only has to get up to me at 12:30/1 and then again at 5, but go back to sleep fast and am not ready to play until 7:30ish...

Big Smiles

Mummy was changing my nappy, after I had woken up... I was so full of smiles that she had to get the camera. I LOVE having a big kick with my nappies off!!!

Uncle David & Aunty Heidi

Uncle David was in Ireland when I was born. He arrived home when I was 2 weeks old. It was awhile before he saw me with my eyes open. Infact he thought all I did was sleep! Now im getting bigger and am awake more, plus I always manage to give him a HUGE smile he thinks I'm pretty good.

Aunty Heidi gives nice cuddles and is trying to educate me on how yummy noodles are!!

Sleeping -the hammock

My first bed was the Hammock. I had lots of fun sleeping in here.

During the day Mummy would set it up in the lounge and at night it was in the room with Mummy. Perfect for me as I never missed a minute of the action.

I slept in the hammock until I was 6weeks old.

Mummy hated moving me to the big cot in my own room.

But it was best as now Mummy & I both get lots of sleep at night!!!!

My First Outing

At 1 week old I went on my first outing with Mummy & Honey.

We went to Janny & Dandy's (my great-grandparents) and then had a quick stop at the supermarket.

I was the perfect baby! I woke up to have cuddles with Janny & Dandy. Aunty Rae, Uncle Kevin & Andrew also popped in to see me.. They all thought I was very cute.

The Day I was Born

I was born at Waikato Hospital on 21st January 2006 at 3:45pm.
Honey, Aunty Jodie & Julie (midwife) were with Mummy to help me arrive. Aunty Jodie cut my cord & Honey got me dressed. DA arrived at the hospital a few minutes after I was born. Everyone was soooo excited to meet me.
