Happy Birthday Maddi..

Tomorrow is Maddi's first birthday.. So Mummy & I decided to go to Tokoroa this morning and take Maddi her birthday pressy. I was a little Angel and slept the whole way there (and back!!).
It was lovely to see Maddi & Shannon (her Mummy) and we also got a special treat cause Stace was there too.

Maddi was very kind and shared her toys with me. Maddi is ver clever.. she is almost ready to walk and she says lots of words.. Mummy tried to get me to copy Maddi by saying "MUM".
When it was time to go home I had a cuddle with Stacey.. and then I thought I should give Maddi a kiss goodbye!! (arent we cute)

Thank you Tiffany

Yesterday morning Maxie & his Mummy Tiffany came to our house. Tiffany is the painting room.. and she put a coat of paint on my walls while Maxie & I played with my Mummy..
We had lots of fun with the toys.. We also had a cruskit for morning tea. Maxie had a turn in my jolly jumper.. He thought it was fun so I leant it to him.

Thank you sooo much Tiffany for painting my room!!!

 

What fun...

Mummy said I was the best girl in the whole world yesterday.
I had an hour sleep in the morning before creche and then only a few minutes in the car on the way to the races plus a few minutes in my pushchair.. But I was still very very HAPPY!
Especially when I left home at 9am and didnt get back till 7pm

I was very pleased to see my Da when he arrived.
We were sitting on the hill with Barb & Russell, Bev & Paco and Barbs friend. They were there to watch there horse Didi Blue.

We got to go to a special place before the race to see the horse parade in the birdcage.. We thought Sister was the best and Aunty Heidi was the best leader :-)
Da, Uncle Kevin & Sparkesy had a drink with Aunty Heidi before the race.

Barb & Bev were very Happy cause Didi Blue won..
We all cheered very loud..

After the races we went back to Uncle David & Aunty Heidis. I had my dinner and a bath there. I also showed them how clever I am at crawling.

Sister goes to the races.

Honey & Mummy picked me up from Creche to take me to the races... First we called in at Uncle David & Aunty Heidi's so I could put my pretty dress on (they brought it for me a long time ago -lucky aren't I!!).
We then hoped back in the car and went to the Te Aroha race course.
Sister Veronica was having her first run after a spell

Lots of people came to watch and I had a lovely day in the sun talking to everyone.

Sister didn't go as well as everyone hoped. But thats ok.. she will do better next time.

Cassidy at Creche

When I woke up on Wednesday Morning Honey & Da were home.. I was very pleased to see them. I hoped into bed with them and had cuddles before breakfast. Honey brought be this cute outfit home.


I went to Creche this morning so that Mummy could do more painting in my new room. I had lots of fun. My friend Erin goes to Creche on a Wednesday too so I got to play with her.

Crawling

Cassidy has always been a little mover.. I gave up on the wedge in her cot when she was just over 3months cause she wriggled so much. She started moving about on the floor from 5months.. but this crawling business has just had her frustrated. She could only find reverse. But today my clever little girl started to crawl!! Looks like it will be all go from now on..

Today everything came together and I finally worked out this crawling business!! I crawled all the way from Mummy over to see Aliesha!! ( a good 2-3 meters). Mummy & Aliesha were very pleased with me.. But they kinda thought it might be a fluke..
I showed them it wasn't I have been crawling all afternoon!! When Mandi came to dinner I even showed off to her. Wait till Honey & Da get home and I show them.

 

Swimming with Mummy

This afternoon Mummy & I had a swim in Honey & Da's pool.. Mummy put me in my new togs. I think they are pretty cute. I'll be a real beach babe at whanga in these!!!

 

Into everything...

This afternoon at about 4 we took the dogs for a walk.. It was great... we went down to Anne street. Both Amber and Henry had a swim, Henry even tried to catch the ducks. When we got back Mummy put me on the floor to play.. She had a few toys out of the box for me.. But I thought the stuff in the box was much better.. So I made my way to be box.. tipped it over and got my own toys out!!

 

Antenatal at Xander's

This Morning Mummy & I went to Cambridge to Zonia & Xanders house. We had a lovely time catching up with all the other antenatal babies. We are all growing and changing so quickly now.. no longer little babies. Im so lucky to have so many friends to play with. I played with Xander, Nyla, Max and Jasmine.

Visiting

It was such a lovely sunny afternoon that when I woke up Mummy & I decided to go visiting. Our first stop was to see Aunty Rae, Uncle Kevin & Andrew. I had my afternoon tea there with them... Ralph the dog was very excited to see me.

Then we went down the road to see Janny & Dandy. Janny gave me my bottle then I spent lots of time wriggling around the floor.

 

Honey & Da go to Sydney

This Morning Honey & Da left to go to Sydney for a long weekend. While they are there they will go to the races to see ANDEN run. I hope they have lots of fun...
I will miss them tho!!

 

Amy Rose

Last night Amy-Rose from Ireland arrived with her boyfriend Willhelm. I was too tired tho and couldn't stay awake to meet them (Or see Uncle David & Aunty Heidi who came for dinner).
Amy Rose's father (Goff) is good friends with Da and Mummy & Uncle David went to school in Ireland with Aishling & Eugene Amy Rose's brother and sister. Everyone was very pleased to see her.

When I woke up I finally got to meet them. I liked Amy Rose alot!! I especially liked pulling her long hair :-)

8 Months Old

I am 8months old today!! Mummy says she doesnt know where the time has gone!! Mummy hasn't blogged for awhile, so let me fill you in on what I've been up to.

- I had my first ear infection!! Dr Margaret gave me medicine to make be feel better. Honey & Da thought I was very brave cause I have coped with my bug very well.
- Im now doing so well with my sleeping. I sleep for 11hours at night plus I'm happy to go to bed for my day sleeps
-I have been trying new foods I now love Fish and hummus!!

Today I have been a busy bee... I had my first trip to the dump!! (Honey & Mummy loaded the car with stinky rubbish -I hope we don't do that again soon)


Mummy brought me these sunglasses.. She thinks I look cute in them. But I think its better to suck on them than wear them!!
