Me & Maddi

This morning we went to Aunty Heather & Uncle Colin's so we could visit with Maddi & her Mum Shannon... Maddi is my cousin. She very cool, (she can even WALK!!).

Maddi & I had fun playing with all the toys and eating a special rainbow biscuit that Uncle Colin brought. It was great to see Maddi.. I can't wait till I can walk too then there will be no stopping us :-)

Swinging & Swimming

This morning Mummy & I walked to swimming. We were super early so we stopped to have a play in the park. I had lots of fun on the swing. I giggled & giggled.

Honey came to watch me swim and she took some photos. I'm very LOUD in the pool. I want to make sure everyone knows I'm having a good time.

This is all of us play ring a ring a rosey... when our mum's say Tissue we all go under. Its fun.

I HATE swimming on my back.. Mum doesnt know why. But I scream and scratch at mum & try to roll over!! Mum says I am a little Monkey!! I think we will have to do some practising in Honey & Da's pool

Elise's Party

This morning we went to Elise's 1st Birthday Party. It was a teddy bears picnic. So I took my little ted that Honey brought me.

I had a HUGE sleep before we went so I was a very happy girl.

And of course I looked super pretty in my purple dress.

There were lots of kids at the party. Most of them were big kids.. I thought I should be playing with them. There were heaps & heaps of balloons. I LOVED them. Mummy had to get me out from under the table where I was surrounded.

Mummy's camera ran out of batteries so I didnt get any photos of me & Elise or the other kids. I'm in bed fast asleep now!!

Playtime with my Mates

Yesterday afternoon we had our Antenatal Catch up at Jasmine's house. It was great to see my friends again.. we did miss Nyla tho!! Jasmine was very tired and she slept thru most of playtime. Most of us are moving now.. so it was lots of fun moving about looking at all the toys. Mummy did growl me tho cause I keep taking Maxie's toys.. Lucky Max is so kind and doesnt mind to much -I hope!

 

On the farm with Uncle David & Aunty Heidi

Yesterday morning Mummy & I went to Greenwood Park. It was nice to spend sometime with Uncle David & Aunty Heidi.

We went on a big walk around the farm. We saw all the horses.. Anden & Sister were having their breakfast so we kept away from them.. But Nelly was very pleased to see me. Shes very big tho and I wasn't to sure about her. I was brove tho.. Next we saw Petra & Nelly2 they are only little.. Uncle David put me on Petra's back

I played lots of silly games..

Aunty Heidi was out of puff after we jumped like a horse.. I think im too heavy for her.

10 months old!!

Today I'm 10months old.
Mummy says she can't believe how fast this year has gone.
I can say...
Da..
Ta.. (I'm very polite)
BubBub..
When asked what the doggy says I make a Woof sound
When asked what the cow says I can make a MOO sound
I still dont say mum.. Mummy thinks Im doing it to tease her.

I crawl very fast.
And im pulling myself up on everything.
I have even managed to stand once by myself.
I love clapping & waving.
I have very good rythmn and love bouncing to music.

My favourite toys at present are balls which I love chasing, and blocks which I love knocking over. My new game is hiding from Mummy, and opening and closing doors!!


Look what we found behind the garage!! 3 Kittens. The girl from next door came to tell us about them. Mummy says we will have to ring the SPCA.

Playing with Jack & Sam

This morning Mummy & I went to the base with Honey. Mummy brought me a little pushchair that doesnt take up much room in the Car. I will be able to take it on our holiday to the bay of islands. Then after my sleep Mummy & I went to see Jack & Sam and their Mummy Kelly

This is Sam.. He's very cute!! Sam is only 51/2months old. He just learnt to roll. I kept wanting to touch him.. Mummy was worried that I wouldn't be gentle tho!!

Jack is 2. And he is soo much fun. I spent the afternoon crawling after him. And playing with his toys.

 

What a LONG week!!

I havent been very well.. so Mummy has been very busy looking after me and hasn't managed to update my site. Now I'm feeling better we will catch up up.

I had Croup & a throat infection. I was very miserable.. not sleeping, in pain and only wanting my MUM. Not even Honey could make me happy. We were in Whangamata for the weekend when I got sick.. So I didnt have much fun there.
By Thursday I was finally starting to feel better.


Look how wriggly I get in my cot now. I am always standing up waiting for Mummy when she comes to get me. Mummy got rid of my mobile cause I kept pulling at it.


On Friday afternoon Maxie came to visit me. Max had Croup too!! I was very pleased to see him.. We didnt play for long as I had slept thru most of his visit.


This morning Mummy & I were out and about early. We went to The Tamahere Markets with Aunty Rae. I was a good girl and slept in my pushchair -just as well cause Mummy found part of my Christmas Pressy!!!
After the market we went to visit Janny & Dandy. Henry & Amber (the dogs) are having a holiday out there.. so I got to play with them too. I had lots of fun entertaining everyone..


Then it was home to bed...
Now when I go to sleep I wont let keep my blanket on so Mum sneaks in when im alseep to cover me up. This is how she found me today. Round the wrong way and curled up like a ball.

 

Hiding from Mummy

I was playing with my toys when I saw Mummy walk down the hall to the bathroom. I followed her but since my bedroom door was open I decided to stop there. Mummy started calling me so I came to find her.. When I saw her I tried to shut the door on her!!

I then crawled away fast and tried to hide..

She found me tho... Mummy thought I was very funny she was laughing at me

 

Visitors & Visiting

We had a busy day today.. This morning Maxie, Jasmine & Aeryn came to play (Mummy forgot to take photos!!). It was nice to see them. I was very good at sharing my toys.

Then after my sleep we went to visit Janny & Dandy. I love going to visit them.

Here I am escaping from Janny.. I'm very fast you know!

I love playing with all Janny's little bits and pieces. Especially the coasters.

 

Trucks

Look at my new truck! Mummy says that girls can play with trucks too. Im pleased cause its fun to put things in then tip them out. Just wait till I can play in the sandpit with it.

Hanging with Mandi

This is Mandi. Shes my friend. Today we went and picked Mandi up and we all went into town for lunch. I was a very good girl I sat nicely in my pushchair and even helped Mummy & Mandi eat their lunch.

After lunch we walked back to the car. We stopped at lots of shops.. I just watched quietly. Mandi brought me these cool shoes. They have squeeks in the bottom. Thank you Mandi

Mandi is staying at our house tonight cause Aliesha is at rowing camp. I thought it was funny when I woke up from my afternoon sleep and Mandi was here. Im pleased that I will get to play with her again in the morning!!

 

Playing outside

This morning Maxie & Nyla came to play. I was very excited to see them. Because it was so sunny Mummy put my toys on the grass so we could play in the sun. We had a great time together. Nyla & I weren't to sure about keeping out hats on tho.

After they left Honey arrived to play with me. We had lunch together. While I was asleep Mummy & Honey put up the sun shade Honey brought us. So now I have a special place to play outside.

So after my sleep Mummy & I went back outside to play. This time I chased the balls all over the lawn. I really like crawling on the grass. Although sometimes I think the little daisys look fun to eat!!!

 

Little Miss Independant!!

That bowl & spoon Mummy uses to feed me look like fun. I have been trying to get hold of them for ages. Mummy started giving me my own spoon but its no good without the bowl.
Well tonight I was super fast and I got the bowl.
How clever am I???

While I was asleep this afternoon Sister Veronica ran at avondale. She had a great race.. Mummy got very excited as she watched. Sister came 3rd!
