Honey & Da are home

Honey & Da had a holiday at the beach... they came back home today. I was very happy to see them. I am soo lucky to have them at my house.

Tonight after my bath I played lots of games with both Da & Honey

Racing & Rugby

Anden raced today at Te Rapa.. so Mummy said we could go and watch. I decided that I would practise riding on my horsey before watchin Anden.

I was very excited when we saw the horses.. but Not as excited as I was too see David & Heidi. They were busy gettin Anden ready so I played by the birdcage Until I finally saw Uncle David. He didn't have a show of not picking me up!!

I waved to Aunty Heidi as she lead Anden (does she look flash in her boots!!)

Anden ran so well.. he came third. We thought he was a star!!

Then this afternoon we decided to go down to Old Boys to watch the seniors play. They played University and won 82-0. (Which is good cause Uncle David bet them last week!) I had so much fun running around on the grass while the game was on

and then after the game we went inside for a drink and it was even more fun in the club. There were so many people to say hi too. When Mummy, Debbie & David were little they used to play in the old boys clubrooms too!!

Me & Max..

Today I had to get yucky injections. I didnt like them one little bit. I screamed very loud and told the nurse "no No NO". Mummy says that I wont need to have any more till I'm 4.

But when we got home I got a nice visit from Aunty Rae, and she bought a yummy cookie for my lunch. I made Aunty Rae very happy by saying her name :-)

Then this afternoon I went to play with MAX. I was very pleased to see Maxie.. and we got up to mischief straight away..

Max has two cats.. we followed them thru the house until they went out the cat door. I thought that cat door looked like fun so we both explored.

Thursday's are creche days.. so today I went to play with my friends..
I love creche -now when we pull up outside in the mornings I start clapping.

Today we had lovely green playdough to play with. It was fun.. and tasted good too!

Anzac Day

This morning Mummy & I went to Memorial Park to the Anzac celebrations -there were thousands of people...

Aunty Rae & Bailee met us there. I thought Bailee was pretty cool. My favourite part was when the men played the music. I got a BIG fright when the gun went off tho!!

Next we went to visit Shannon and baby Jack in the hospital. Jack made everyone wait a LONG time to meet him. But it was well worth the wait. He is super cute! And we know that Maddi will be the best big sister ever!

Our final stop was to visit Janny & Pat. I was meant to have my lunch, watch sister veronica's race then have a big sleep in the porta-cot. I had other ideas tho!!! I ate up lunch.. and cheered "go, go, Go" as sister ran a wonderful race (sister ended up second because I norty horsey ran into her). But who wants to sleep when the sun is shining and there is fun to be had.

Just before it was time to come home Aunty Jackie & Uncle Paddy arrived -so I got to show off all over again. I even took Uncle Pad outside to see the cows :-)

What a busy day, I am now exhusted.. Goodnight everyone.

15 month old

On Saturday I turned 15months old...
Today Mummy & I went to plunket so I could see Jan & have my check up... Jan thought I had grown lots. I am now 83.5cms (which is off the height chart for my age) & I weigh 12kgs (which means I've put on 1kg and am in the 75%). Mummy says I should slow down with all my growing!

I love bath time soooo much! As soon as I have had enough of my dinner I start saying Bath, bath, bath!

Here are the new words I can say...

Paper, Freckle, Hot, Poos, Sofa, Buush (brush), Spider, Bobble, Car, Creche, Bekfast (breakfast), Lunch, Goget (yoghurt), Cheese, Apple (this is used for apple, orange and banana), Andrew, Luca, Ralphie, Bamba (Amber), Max, "where we", "elp me"(help me)

Tiger says... GRRR, Pussy Cat says... Meeow, Bird says... Tweet, Chicken says... Brook book

I also say "Sit Luca. No no no Luca" all the time. And if Mummy growls me I normally start saying No Luca. Mum's not sure why I do it.. But I think its pretty clever to blame everything on the dog!

My Week (15/4 - 22/4)

We finally have our phone line working again!!! So let me update you on what I did last week.

Sunday

We went to visit Janny & Pat. Unfortuntaly I only got to say Hi & Bye to Pat. But I had lots of fun with Janny. She had missed me while I was at the beach.

I also stopped to see Uncle Kevin, Aunty Rae & Andrew. I was very clever and even said Andrew.. He thought I was very smart!

Monday

I had fun playing in the sun.. Mummy even got my balls out.

Tuesday

Today I had loads of fun at creche. When Mummy picked me up I was giggling and giggling. When I got home I decided to play outside... but I needed to cool off with a BIG drink of water.

Wednesday

This morning we walked around the corner to play with Jack & Sam. Maggie was there too, Maggie and I are the same age.. shes very cool.

Then this afternoon Connor, Max and Jasmine came to play. It was great to see them all. We had so much fun together.

(Uncle David & Aunty Heidi had there first win as trainers... Sister Veronica won in race 1 at Te Aroha today)

Thursday

Shannon, Stacey & Delwyn came to visit us this morning. We have all been waiting to meet Shannon's new bubba but he's not ready to meet us yet. I was a very good girl playing outside while all the adults talked.

Then this afternoon Honey brought me a tea set. Its so much fun -especially when there is water in it :-)

Friday

Mummy has a yucky headache that just wont go away. Honey says she needs a big rest so guess what... I am going to the beach with Honey & Da.. for the whole weekend!!

Its my first weekend away from Mummy. I promised Mum that I would be a good girl for Honey.

Sunday

I was a very good girl for Honey & Da.. and I had soo much fun. Honey drove me thru to meet Mummy in front of the L&P bottle this morning.

Mummy then took me home. But I was extra lucky cause we stopped to see Heidi & David on the way home. I got to say Hello to the Horses and even watch Uncle David make up the feeds. We got to watched the video of Sisters race while we were there. She did so well

Saturday at the farm

Yesterday we came home from the beach. We stopped at Tahuna on the way to see Da. He was at Greenwood Park looking after the horses while Uncle David & Aunty Heidi took Anden & Sister to the races.

I had so much fun playing on the farm. I saw the horses & cows, played with the gates, chased the dogs and even got my very first ride on the motorbike.

Just before it was time to come home we got to watch Sisters race. She did very well and came third. Anden raced later in the afternoon, I cheered him on too but unfortunatly some naughty horses past him on the finish line.

My week in Whanga..

Wednesday

I got to take the doggy's for another walk. This time we went down to the Estuary. The dog's had lot of fun chasing the stick into the water.. I thought it looked like fun so I joined in too!!

Thursday

We went into town to get my passport photos taken (only 10weeks till we go to see Aunty Debbie). Honey brought me these cool beads and some pretty clips. I love my beads so much I had to show them off to Amber and the dollys.

Friday

Its sooo windy today... and far to cold to go on the beach (especially as Mummy can't keep me out of the ocean). But Mummy & I did manage to go outside to try out my gumboots. I had fun trying to walk in all the wind.

Walking the doggy's

Its just me, mummy & honey left at the beach. But thats ok we still managed to have lots fun. This morning mummy & I went and had a big play at the habour park. Since its school holidays there were lots of people about. I really liked swinging today.

Then on the way home we stopped and Mummy brought me some crayons. I thought it was great to draw a pretty picture.

Then this afternoon after my sleep we took the doggys for a walk. I was a good girl in my pushchair for most of the walk.. but when we were almost home I decided it was time to get out and play.

I came home wet and sandy so Honey & I warmed up in the bath. After dinner I had fun playing games & reading stories with my Honey.
