Gary's Rugby

Gary's Team won the Waikato Under 15's Competition this year. We raced thru the calves and milking so we could make it to his game. He played really well and I did excellent cheering for him.
Gary was also selected to play in the South Waikato Under 15 team... it was only a very short season... we went and watched him play two night games in the freezing cold... then his last games was during the day ... and it was lovely and sunny so we all went to watch.

After the game the boys got into a huddle to do there cheers... I was so eager to see Gary I rushed over...

Happy Birthday Pats (September 15th)

We came thru to Hamilton today to see Pats for is Birthday... It was lovely to see him and I sang him a special Happy Birthday Song

The All Blacks Test.. (minus me!!)

Mum & Justin went thru to Hamilton to met up with Honey, Da, Uncle Days, Aunty Heidi, Barb & Russell so they could all watch the All Black Test. (I got a special treat too... I got to stay the night at the Andersons!!)

Farm Life

Farm life is very busy... especially during CALVING.
But I am being a very big helper. In the mornings mum & I go up to the shed.. we help Justin finish milking... Mum's job it to stand with the new cows who have never been milked before -sometimes she even has to hold there tails, just if they are naughty!!
Then we feed our calves... We teach the new ones how to drink but the big ones just gobble it down.
In the afternoons... we help bring the any calves that have been born up to the shed and then we feed all the calves again...
Some days its wet and yucky and I cant be bothered helping so I stay in the car. Mum has made me a special space in the backseat with my books, dvd player and even a pillow & blanket.
But mostly I like helping... especially when I get to go on the tractor or motorbike :-)

This is my little friend... she was tiny.. so small that I had to stand beside her while mum got her drinking just so she wouldnt fall over. We got to keep her for almost two weeks before she was big enough for a ride on the truck. I was sad to see her go!
