On Thursday we hired a car and drove to Granda to go to the Alhambra.
The Alhambra was one of the last Moorish strong holds, before it was taken by the Spanish in the 1500's. The islamic art & architecture of the Alhambra is unbelievably breathtaking. The Alhambra is made up of 3 areas.
General life(the gardens & private palace for relaxation). Palacio Nazaries (Nasrid Palace) -was built for Granada's Muslim rulers in their 13th-15th century heyday. Alcazaba -this is the fortress, built from the 11th-13th century. The views are amazing and its easy to see why it took the Spanish so long to capture the Alhambra.

(Here are Aunty Deb & I all ready to explore the Alhambra)
We started the day in general life. We were quickly astounded at the size of the gounds, and the views. The gardens were beautiful. There was water running through out and I LOVED playing with it.
Mummy & Debbie took so many photos that Mum had a hard time decided which ones to choose. Here are some collage of the things we saw.

The palace was our next stop. When you get your ticket you are given a 30minute time slot where you are allowed to enter the Palace. All the adults were amazed with all the beautiful details. Mummy says its hard to capture how 'grand' it was with a photo.
Our final stop was the Alcazaba. But unfortunaly it was So hot that and as we only had the backpack everyone was exhusted so we didn't get a long look around. It was extremly high tho and you could see for miles.
After all that exploring in the HOT HOT sun (it was 39degrees) I slept all the way back to Torromolinos.

We stopped at the supermarket on the way home as we were all to tired to bother with going out to dinner. But I still had enough energy to dancing along with kids disco. Here I am doing Heads Shoulders Knees & Toes.
